Would you like to wake up to this?

Clock
Pillow
My husband must of been INSANE to think that a four year old that already wakes up at 6:15 every morning needs a @#*% alarm clock. To add insult to injury it's a big creepy sponge that lives under the sea. One of my evil siblings was on the same wave-length and purchased him the life-sized pillow. I think it looks like head cheese and would prefer to send it all to Goodwill, but now the little guy has become quite attached and will probably keep them through university.

Even worse, i think i dated a guy that looked like him in my youth.

Maybe I'll get him the matching phone for Easter. Then you'll really feel like you're living in a pineapple under the sea... Fri 6-Feb-2004 15:20

Coffee
Nice Face
I went to download photos off my camera and found these two tucked in there - clearly taken by my daughter. Perhaps this is her way of saying "hey mom, you make the best coffee" and "hey mom, go screw yourself".

Ah, parenting. Now I must go and hide her favourite toy.

Snowday

Yesterday was snow day. Okay, not an official one - but I figure if it was going to be the biggest snow fall of the year and they weren't going to close the schools I would give my babies a snow day anyhow. By 10:00 am I remembered how much I hate doing crafts with them so bundled them up and threw them into the snow drifts.

Remember the days when you would walk out into a snow storm and squint into the sky with your mouth open to catch snow flakes? I miss my super slider snow skates.

I bet you miss your eight ball. Wed 28-Jan-2004 21:26

Skating at Harbourfront

Doug and Mr. Bobo
The only thing better than watching your four year-old learning to skate is watching his big sister brush him off and give him a hug when he falls.

Oh, and beer.

That's a silly photo. Maybe you need some new power cells.

I like the blur effect. Is that because you were on skates too? Sat 17-Jan-2004 17:25

Sunshine, Snow, and a Cozy Coupe!

Workshop
This is my little workshop out back. Sometimes, when things get hectic and too noisy in my house I like to go back there and have some quiet time with my power tools. Today it looks nice 'cause we had a lot of snow and it is really sunny outside. The Cozy Coupe is not mine. It belongs to Mr. Bobo. He is probably getting too big for it now, but won't let us get rid of it. I think when he is not looking I will drag it out to the sidewalk and leave it for someone to take. We already have two cars.

Very nice! Looks like Santa's workshop. Or maybe Santa's boat house. Fri 16-Jan-2004 12:23

It's probably where Santa would go to get away from Mrs. Claus and drink beer. Mon 26-Jan-2004 00:12

So what do you make out there? Sweet lovin'? "Go inside the house and watch a movie, kids." Tue 13-Sep-2005 14:30

Jackalope

Raymond

This is my Jackalope Raymond. He arrived in the mail last week from my special friend Chuck in San Francisco. When I say Chuck is special, I don't mean it in an "olympic" sort of way, but rather that he is cool and sends me stuff like Raymond. I love Raymond, but now I fear all my friends will want to copy me and get a Jackalope too. My husband didn't like it, but has learned to ignore/put up with me and my friends over the years. My son, Mr. Bobo, really liked it, but my daughter, Princess Lea just won't warm to him. My cat was in heat so she liked him alot.

I wish i could figure out how to flip my pictures vertical and save them, but my computer is crappy.

I've met Chucky - he should be an Olympian. Tue 13-Jan-2004 20:11
